Video Mapping

––Works and snippets found by chance, in a happy and inspiring way––

I was browsing motionographer.com when I saw this latest link, and I was amazed by the scale and the high resolution of the projections.

Spanish TV3 channel produced special interviews with scientist Eduard Punset and the presenter Andreu Buenafuente. Their conversations on everyday life were enveloped by a video projection of around 100 m2. These projections were sound triggered: every time they said the word “brain” or “future”, or “city” these reactive backdrops appeared and changed scene.

It’s amazing how projection mapping can transport these people into different places, and contextualize their conversation, all without leaving their seat.

This amazing work was done by Barcelona based studio Tigrelab, developed by WeLoveCode using Processing. Another reason to love  open-source!
