During my Master’s I had the luck to have a one-year mentorship/tutoring program with Pete and Joel from Hellicar&Lewis. Their work really push the boundaries of technology in a creative way, focusing on being in the moment and creating memories you will cherish and remember. I’ve also participated in paper prototyping workshops held by Pete and Joel. It was really fun to mess around with cardboard and markers!
I also had the amazing opportunity to fly to London and work with them at their studio. I helped out with concept development, design research, gestural input sketches and creating a scoping document for a major international client. I learned a lot from this experience, had a lot of fun and met wonderful people (Sarah and Jess, I’m talking to you!). Would love to go back soon 🙂
The skills learned from these experiences have helped me incorporate rapid prototyping and creative thinking paired with technology  into my own practice.
Both Pete and Joel are really generous, creative people. Here is an awesome interview with them.
