OHG-BUNKER | 2021-2022
An exhibition in the bunker at Oslo Handelgymnasium (OHG) where the Norwegian occupation was coordinated under the Second World War.
Visitors can learn in this exhibition about the occupation in Norway, the nazification of the country and learn more about people that were part of the resistance movement and those who cooperated with the nazis. Infostations and other digital and analog elements in the exhibition allow visitors to go in depth in different themes about the war. An interactive radio recreates messages from that time period. An interactive phone illustrates how Josef Terboven coordinated the occupation from this bunker. Projections on the walls set the atmosphere in each room.
In the Peace and Reckoning room, visitors can learn about how things went with different people from the war: the top leaders, cooperation and resistance actors, as well as teachers and students at OHG. In the last room Democracy in crisis? the audience can reflect on democracy and threats to the democratic society. The interactive role-playing game Demos Kratos invites reflection on these themes.
