JOURNEY INSTALLATION | 2017

In this interactive installation visitors can trigger the particles’ journey from the Sun to the Earth’s magnetosphere resulting in the northern lights.

This phenomenon is experienced through interactive storytelling in three holographic displays. An interactive custom-made application runs content and visualizations comprised of 3D animated video sequences and real-time particle effects on the screens below the holographic displays. The content and animation guides the visitors through the particles’ journey from the Sun to the Earth. Visitors can browse the content and read facts on the subject while triggering visual explanations.
